Physics With Friends – Radiology Physics Made Easy!

The quest for any kind of Gyan or knowledge is often fraught with unexpected challenges and this is especially true when we attempt to achieve mastery over a specific area of radiology – Radiophysics. Radiophysics is misunderstood not just because it can be fairly complicated but also because it is difficult to understand its application in daily clinical practice. For most of us, trying to wade too deep into the muddy waters of radiophysics is subjected to the law of diminishing returns. Since we too have suffered at the hands of physics, our team here at Radiogyan, decided to see if we couldn’t make physics slightly more palatable.

The product of several brainstorming sessions resulted in an unexpected union between Radiophysics and the popular American Sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S (The F.R.I.E.N.D.S theme song starts playing in the background). So if you’re a fan of Joey, Ross, and Chandler, get ready because you are about to see them say some pretty rad stuff! The first section covers the X-ray tube and we will cover the entirety of X-ray physics in the subsequent posts. We hope this is useful and you guys have as much fun learning about X-ray physics as we had to create this!
