Remember ring enhancing lesions have a RIND PATTERN of enhancement.

R – Radiation necrosis
I – Infarct
N – Neurocysticercosis
D – Demyelination
P – Pyogenic
A – Abscess
T – Tuberculoma
T – Toxoplasmosis
E – Encephalitis
R – Resolving hematoma
N – Neoplastic (metastases, glioblastoma)

The other differential for ring-enhancing lesions is MAGIC Lady Doctor:

M – Metastasis
A – Abscess
G – Glioblastoma multiforme
I – Infarct (subacute phase)
C – Contusion
Lady – Lymphoma
D – Demyelination (tumefactive)
R – Radiation necrosis
