Introducing the RadioGyan Mobile App!

Update: The RadioGyan app on the Google Play Store is temporarily unavailable while we sort out an issue with the listing. Until it is back, you can install the app directly from this website on Android, iOS and desktop using the instructions below. The app works exactly the same either way.

You need to be logged out to install the app. You can login once you have installed it.

Android:

The Google Play Store version is currently unavailable, so the Play Store link has been removed for now. There are two ways to install on Android in the meantime.

Option 1: Download the APK (full app)

Because the file comes from this website instead of the Play Store, Android will ask you to authorise the install. This is normal.

Step 1: Download

1. Tap the download button above.
2. If your browser warns that the file could be harmful, tap OK or Download anyway.

Step 2: Allow the install

1. Tap the download notification or the downloaded .apk file to open it.
2. A pop-up will say your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source. Tap Settings.
3. Turn Allow from this source ON, as shown below.

Step 3: Install

1. Tap the back arrow to return to the install screen.
2. Tap Install.
3. If Google Play Protect flags an unrecognised developer, tap More details, then Install anyway.

Tip: after installing, you can switch the permission back off under Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps.

Option 2: Install the web app (no APK)

1. Open RadioGyan in Chrome on your Android phone or tablet.
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.
3. Tap “Install app” (on some phones it reads “Add to Home screen”).
4. Confirm the prompt. The RadioGyan icon will appear in your app drawer and home screen.
5. Open it and log in as usual.

We will put the Play Store badge back on this page as soon as the listing is restored.

iOS (iPad and iPhone)

1. Visit RadioGyan on your iOS device using Safari Browser. This will not work on Chrome on iOS. Thanks to Instagram user Munaza Shuja for letting us know.
2. Click on share icon close to the address bar.
3. Click on the  “Add to Home screen”.
4. Confirm add to the home screen!
5. Check out the RadioGyan app in your app drawer!

Desktop App

• Click on the three-dot menu in the upper right corner.
• You will get an option to “Install RadioGyan” below the “Find” option.
• Click on “Install” on the next prompt
• Done. You will get a shortcut on the desktop to access the app directly.
